Police Officer/Patrolman

$29 hour - $30 after probation.  ($4562 KLEPFP annually)

Hazardous Duty retirement

Requirements:

21 years of age

High school or GED

Valid KY operator's license

Kentucky POPS certified with at least one year experience.  Out of state officers must obtain KLEC reciprocity.

Duties include:

Enforcing federal, state and local laws.

Patrolling and crime prevention

Crime scene security and investigations

Report writing and courtroom testimony

Responding to calls for service

Mandatory annual training (40 hours)
