The Middletown Police Department is seeking lateral and retired officer applicants for the position of full-time Police Officer.  Applicants must currently hold a valid Peace Officer Professional Standards (POPS) certificate administered by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council.  The Middletown Police Department is a Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police Accredited Agency.  Applications may be picked up beginning May 21, 2025, at Middletown City Hall, 11803 Old Shelbyville Road, Middletown KY, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.   Applications are also available to download and print from the MPD website:  www.cityofmiddletownky.org.   All applications must be returned to Middletown City Hall by June 18, 2025, in order to be considered.  For additional information please call (502) 365-1900 or email [email protected].

• This is a full-time Officer position (10 hr. shift A/B schedule)
• Anticipated salary is $85,682.00 (w/ KLEPF)(late-watch $87,762.00 w/KLEPF & shift diff)
