Police lateral Full / Part time

The Eminence Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time and part-time police lateral.

Must be P.O.P.S certified and have at least one (1) year of experience and completed field training.

Compensation $28.22 an hour (plus KLEFPF).  The department participates in hazardous duty retirement.  Excellent benefit package includes health, dental, and vision.  Life insurance, military leave, sick leave, and other paid time off.  (Accrued vaction and holiday hours to be used throughout the year) Holiday pay back up to 80 hours at the end of the year.

Take home fleet for officers who live within 35 miles of the city.  Off duty details are approved on a case by case basis.  All uniforms and equipment are provided by the department.

Eminence is located approximately 12 miles north of Shelbyville, KY, 14 miles east of LaGrange, KY, 25 miles south of Carrolton KY.
