The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office invites you to join our family of service. JCSO is now hiring for the following sworn positions:

Lateral Deputy Sheriff ($25.35 - $31.48* per hour)

Deputy Sheriff Recruit ($23.28 - $25.35 per hour)

Court Security Officer ($23.24 - $29.38* per hour)

*Certified applicants receive up to 10 years service credit towards pay and vacation accruals.

13 Paid Holidays and 12 Sick Days Annually
