The Radcliff Police Department is currently accepting applications for full time police officers (including, but not limited to, certified/retired officers with salary being commensurate with years of service). Minimum requirements include: being at least 21 years of age (upon graduation from basic police academy); having a high school diploma or equivalent; having a valid driver’s license; having no felony convictions; having a good driving record; and being a US citizen. Applicant must successfully complete a physical agility test, a written examination, background investigation, oral review board, psychological evaluation, polygraph and a medical exam. Salary does not include KLEPF. Recruit salary is $55,000.00 (plus $4,300.00 upon graduation from police academy). Lateral salary is commensurate with experience (up to 10 years credit). Retired certified (as approved by KLEC) officer salary is $65,700.00 (plus $4,300.00 KLEPF)
